
Attorney Patricia J. Mello
Attorney Patricia J. Mello of Patricia Mello & Associates, P.C. in Mashpee, Massachusetts is a member of Massachusetts Bar Association and the National and Massachusetts Academy of Elder Law Attorneys. The Academy is a professional association of lawyers who are dedicated to improving the quality of legal services provided to the elderly. Attorney Mello applies these goals in her everyday practice, and her office specializes only in issues of elder law. Attorney Mello’s formal education includes a Bachelor of Science degree, a Masters of Business Administration, and a Juris Doctorate. A longtime resident of Falmouth, Massachusetts, when she is not practicing law Attorney Mello enjoys spending time with her family, her dog, gardening and shopping.

Attorney Conni L. Baker
Attorney Conni L. Baker earned her J.D. from Southern New England School of Law and she received her Bachelor’s Degree in Sociology/Criminal Justice from the University of Massachusetts – Dartmouth. Conni is admitted to the Massachusetts Bar and the United States District Court for Massachusetts. Prior to joining Patricia Mello & Associates, P.C. Conni worked as a residential and commercial real estate attorney, focused on ensuring clean titles in real estate transactions, as well as estate planning and administration.
Conni joined Patricia Mello & Associates, P.C. in early 2020 where she currently concentrates her practice representing clients in general estate planning, specialized estate planning for long-term care (LTC), qualifying clients for LTC MassHealth in the event of serious illness which may arise, advising clients and families about assisted living and nursing home long term care, probate administration, and residential real estate sales, while continuing to maintain her practice working with Coast Guard families in negotiating residential real estate sales.
A longtime resident of Mashpee, Massachusetts, Conni presently serves as President of the Mashpee Boosters Club, Inc. for the Mashpee Middle-High School. For several years she served as Committee Chairperson for Mashpee Boy Scout Troop 36 and as Treasurer for the Mashpee Cub Scouts. Conni co-founded Friends of the Cape Cod Children’s Museum, a fundraising organization to benefit the Children’s Museum. Conni has also served many years on the Mashpee Special Events Committee volunteering throughout the Mashpee community.
When not practicing law, Conni enjoys baking, traveling, and spending time with her husband, children, and dog.

Attorney Margaret Barao
Margaret earned her J.D. from Suffolk University School of Law, where she concentrated in Trusts and Estates. She received a Bachelor’s degree in history from Wellesley College. Margaret is admitted to the Massachusetts bar. She enjoys providing pro-bono consultations to the elder communities of the Upper Cape, and volunteers at the Senior Centers of that region on a monthly basis. Margaret previously served as the Treasurer of the Wellesley College Club of Cape Cod. Prior to attending Suffolk University Law School, Margaret worked in the financial services sector and was a Special Education teacher, and brings these additional experiences and perspectives to her law practice. Margaret currently serves on the Board of Directors for Cape Cod Apartments, a non-profit organization in Falmouth, Massachusetts that is dedicated to providing affordable rental apartments for the elderly.
Margaret joined Patricia Mello & Associates, P.C. in 2011. She represents clients in matters involving estate planning, planning for long-term care, special needs planning, guardianship and conservatorship proceedings, probate administration and Medicaid applications and appeals. Margaret especially enjoys working with families to develop tailored estate plans to meet their unique needs and circumstances.
When she is not practicing law, Margaret enjoys reading, basketball and spending time with her family and dogs.

Attorney Amy B. Kullar
Attorney Amy B. Kullar earned her J.D. from Suffolk University School of Law, where she concentrated in Trusts and Estates. She received her Bachelor’s degree in political science and art history from Wellesley College. Amy is admitted to the Massachusetts bar. She enjoys providing pro-bono consultations to the elder communities of the Upper Cape and Martha’s Vineyard, and she volunteers at local Senior Centers on a monthly basis. Prior to attending Suffolk University Law School, Amy played basketball in the Netherlands, and worked as a Corporate paralegal in Boston. When not practicing law, Amy serves as chair of the Zoning Board of Appeals in Bourne, and as the chair of the Charter Compliance Committee in Bourne.
Amy joined Patricia Mello & Associates, P.C. in 2009. She represents clients in matters involving estate planning, planning for long-term care, special needs planning, guardianship and conservatorship proceedings, probate administration, Medicaid applications and appeals, and residential real estate transactions.
Amy and her family reside in Bourne, where they enjoy walking their dog on the Canal, riding bikes around town, and volunteering in their local community.
